Toccata “Hygagan”, Opus 229

Musical works with the title toccata usually imply an exciting, rapid, rhythmic, energetic, touch piece. Hygagan means Armenian. The opening Molto Energico section is polymetric (7/8 and 6/8 meter) with LH octaves throughout.
